Message to 10 minutes. Here's a play-by-play of what will happen:

A. You will certainly freeze your Ass off.
B. As you are driving, the moisture coming off your breath will condense onto your windows making visibility a big issue. Increase possibility of a collision, no?

Sure, engine wear is a concern, but in these extreme cold temperatures, use a good synthetic oil that can still be poured at -50 deg. C. i.e. Amsoil 5W30. And seriously, I think engine wear is the least of your concerns when you can't see a thing out of your windows.

In all honesty, you might be able to get away with that at temperatures as low as -15 deg. C.
